My prior phone was the Samsung Instinct, which was “supposed” to be Sprint’s answer to the iPhone. Needless to say, we was doubtful at best when the HTC Evo was voiced because we had been burnt prior to (if the Instinct was the answer to the iPhone, we contingency have asked the wrong question). we did a little online investigate comparing the Evo to the iPhone and was sold. Awesome Phone. Battery Life Tips

Very gratified with this phone

My first smartphone, good knowledge so far

This is the first smartphone my family has ever bought. We’ve stranded with pay-as-you-go phones simply because we didn’t see the need for the additional stuff. We knew we longed for an Android phone because we both use Goggle Calendar to sync our schedules. 

I debated in between the Incredible (Verizon) and Evo (Sprint) for a integrate of weeks. We staid on Sprint for pricing and morality of bill, so the Evo won. My mother got the Samsung Moment because she longed for a QWERTY keyboard. 

Quite simply, Evo has just about all we could design from a phone. After signing into my Google account, all was setup for me to access. The screens are setup with palliate in mind. we adore that we can spin WiFi and GPS on and off just by a daub on the screen. My Facebook and Google contacts are synced seemlessly. The phone is skinny and fits in my slot easily, nonetheless we devise on shopping a skin to strengthen the edges. we do not have 4G in my area, so we can’t examination that yet. 

My only gripes are battery hold up and ear chain for talking. The battery drains pretty fast while using it, so it might be a good thought to get an additional battery. Also, when we speak on the phone, the corner of the phone seems to puncture into my ear. Maybe with a skin that will go away.

Great phone

I have owned over the years Palm OS phones, Windows OS phones, Nokia and Blackberry’s just to name a few. 

All were good phones at the time with a few exceptions but this one out does them all. 
I live in a 4G area so we get the full benefits of 4G. we got the hotspot use for my phone and have attempted it out with several laptops and a netbook and it functions great. 

I upgraded the firmware on this phone so we haven’t ran in to the issues some have been reporting. we asked a Sprint tech and they pronounced that they will have Android 2.2 ready for the phone when it comes out. 

The only emanate we have had with the phone so distant is the MicroSD card, it was hard for me to get out and put in my own with all my songs.
